Fabrication and Evaluation of Carboxy Methyl Cellulose Anchored Dextran Bioinspired Hydrogel for Effective Delivery of Piroxicam

نویسندگان

چکیده

The main focus of the work was to develop a hydrogel carboxy methyl cellulose tailored dextran containing piroxicam intended for transdermal delivery. Firstly, formulated by conjugation with amino and then mixed encapsulation in matrix. characterization performed terms zeta potential, entrapment efficiency, morphology vitro drug release. size particles found 134 nm cellulose-dextran hydrogels efficiency observed as 87.36 %±1.23 % 72.35 %±2.35 case hydrogels, respectively. An vivo study loaded formulation according more (6.22 mg/ml) than (plain) concentration plasma (3.21 mg/ml). Carboxy epidermis, retained 15.61±1.5 mg/ml dermis it 6.24 %±1.2 well epidermis retention 5.21±1.19 26.34±0.5 12 h. Piroxicam were effective wound healing through improved collagen protein content, restoration antioxidants granuloma tissues.

Evaluation of Additional Carboxy Methyl Cellulose and k-Carrageenan Gums on the Qualitative Properties of Gluten- Free Toast Breads

In this research, after carrying out chemical tests measuring the moisture, protein and ash contents on rice flour according to standard methods, gluten- free breads were prepared from rice flour combined with 0.5% Carboxy Methyl Cellulose (CMC) and 1% -κCarrageenan gum. A sample lacking gum was also produced as control. Rice breads (with gum and without gum) were then produced by semi-industri...

Formulation and Evaluation of Hydrogel-Thickened Microemulsion For Topical Delivery of Minoxidil

The available minoxidil formulations for topical application suffer with major drawback and requires repeated application. The present study was aimed to investigate the effect of microemulsions and microemulsion based hydrogel-systems (MEHs) for increased percutaneous penetration of minoxidil. Minoxidil microemulsions were developed by conventional titration method using oleic-acid as oil, twe...
